Planning For Projects Success and Environmental Sustainability

Description

Would you like plan sizzling Rotary projects that deliver effective outcomes for people, the environment and your club? Facilitators Pat Armstrong, Clare Caulfield and Liz Stinson will steer you through a five-step process to develop, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate, and sustain successful Rotary projects. We will also show you how to access online a comprehensive guide, practical templates, worked examples and other resources.

Presenters

Clare Caulfield

Clare is a past-president of the Rotaract Club of Monash and the current District Rotaract Representative for 9810. A primary science and technology teacher, she has been a member of the District 9810 Sustainable Communities Committee since 2015 and leads the annual Tree Project. She is co-creator of the Planning for Success suite of planning resources.

Liz Stinson

A Rotary member since 2019, Liz serves as the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central and is a member of the Club’s newly formed Environmental Sustainability Committee and ESRAG. In her other lives Liz is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and works as the Chair of Phillip Island Nature Parks and the University of Canberra College Pty Ltd, and is a board member of Community Housing (Victoria) Ltd. She brings to all these roles many years of experience at operational and management levels in teaching, community services and environmental education in Canada and Australia.

Pat Armstrong

A Rotarian since 2002, Pat has served as a Past President of the Rotary Club of Doncaster Sunrise and a Past President of the Rotary Club of Doncaster, where she is currently the team leader of the Sustainability Committee. Pat also serves as the Chair of the District 9810 Sustainable Communities Committee, a Director of the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) and the Chair of the Regional Chapter of ESRAG in the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands (ANZPI) region. In her professional life, Pat is an educator for sustainability and has recently completed a Ph.D. on adolescent leadership for sustainability at RMIT University. Together with Clare Caulfield, she co-developed the Planning for Success suite of planning resources.
